When Your Soul's Path Exhausts You

HELLO BEAUTIFUL,
Today I’d like to share with you a quote I read a view days ago and it spoke straight to my heart and soul:
“Practice what you love, until it becomes service to the world”
(@jamesapearson)
Let this sink in. What does it touch in you? What does it remind you of?
And under the quote the author wrote: The Survival Dance and the Sacred Dance.
Those words opened up a whole universe in me. A whole new level of seeing my life, the loops of struggle and exhaustion I'm facing lately while being on my soul path.
Do you sometimes wonder:
How can this feel SO EXHAUSTING, SO DRAINING, even though this was a choice aligned with my soul, my inner truth?
I feel you.
Come with me on this little journey:
What if you’re a dancer. Imagine you’re a dancer. And your purpose is to bring service and light to the world through your dance. You have the spirit of a dancer. You have the soul. The inner longing to express your soul through your body. To communicate the unspeakable to the world. The unseen. Not just on stages but throughout your life dance. You sacred service lies in dancing through your life and touching hearts and soul, mostly without intention, without your knowing. Just through your being and your generous self-expression to the world. Because you are that dance. You embody that healing. You embody the sacredness of this service so it can BECOME of service.
And how did you get here?
Yes, this sacred service has always been inscribed in your soul. But does this mean your body always knew how to express it? Safely? Confidently? Without pressure to fit in? Without self doubt? Without fear of judgement?
Certainly not. Your dance was a dance of survival until you got here. It was a journey from learning how to walk to learning how to move, how to breka patterns inscribed in your body and to find your very own true way of moving. It was a journey of healing. Of dancing wounds, pain, brokenness, until your motions transformed into beauty, wholeness and power. You had to PRACTICE what you always loved within until it became a love ready to touch others, ready to be felt by others, ready to be of service.
Ready to FEEL ON PURPOSE.
Looking back, what transformation from survival dance to sacred dance have you already gone through in your life?
And what survival dance are you in currently?
Of course it feels draining. Of course it feels exhausting. But if the choice for this dance was aligned with your soul, then, with practice, this dance will evolve. It will become your sacred dance, of service to the world.
HERE'S MY LOVING REMINDER FOR YOU:
You are sacred.
Your mission is sacred.
Your path is sacred.
What does sacredness mean?
IT DOESN'T MEAN, that your path will be easy. It doesn’t mean that you won’t feel lost even if you’re right on track. It doesn’t mean that you feel light, joy and love all the way.
What it DOES MEAN is this:
You're creating from a place of inner truth - and this alone will always remind you of your why.
It reminds and will always remind you of your longing. It will remind you of the pain that holds a purpose to transform within so it can quench the thirst of your soul, longing for growth, longing for healing, longing for expressing the gift within the healing.
It does mean that you’re creating from a place of wholeness. From a place where the fragments of your wounded being are felt, but never defining you.
Your dance is sacred.
Your song is sacred. Your rhythm is sacred.
And that’s when it is of service. To the world. To the unborn souls. To the spirits. To Earth.
Your service lies in trusting your sacredness even when at times you don’t feel it. It lies in practicing to embody it. It needs to be excercised, worked on, elevated, until it beomces internalized. Until it becomes healing, lived potential and a lightful message.
Be honest with yourself today:
How many doors have you closed because the path you were on seemed too unbearable. Because it got too hard, you lost hope or strength on the way through frustrations. How many times have you felt: If it feels that hard and difficult, it can’t be right. It can’t be my soul-path.
Look at the closed doors now:
What if you re-opened them now. What if you continued pursuing what you pursued by then. What’s the competences you’d learn on the way? What’s the practice that you might perfect over time. What’s the service you’d be able to give through that - over time?
Create that inner image. And feel:
Does this speak to your inner thirst?
Would this reality quench the thirst of one of your soul’s desires?
Then: you might consider going back to it. Because the thirst will never quiet. The thirst is a message from your soul.
If no - if that inner image would make you someone that’s not aligned with your truths, your longings, your desires. Then: congratulations for closing that door. This survival dance might never have led you into experiencing your sacred service. Thank you for protecting your magic.
Today I’m gifting you with a guided meditation that’s allowing you to experience the dancer within. The dancer that experiences survival mode. Remember your sacredness within your dance and find inner clarity on your next step on your dancer's journey.
Stay loving with yourself.
Love, Jana
